Baccarat Regulations Baccarat is enjoyed with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards under 10 are worth face value and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are placed on the 'bank', the 'player', or on a tie (these aren't really people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt). Two cards are dealt to both the 'bank' and 'gambler'.
