Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards which are valued under 10 are said to be at their printed value whereas 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they merely depict the 2 hands to be given out).

Two hands of 2 cards will then be given to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The score for any hand is the grand total of the 2 cards, but the first digit is removed. For e.g., a hand of seven … 5 will have a value of two (sevenplus5=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A third card might be dealt depending on the foll. rules:

- If the gambler or banker has a total score of eight or nine, the two players stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or lower, he/she hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or lesser. If the player hits, a chart might be used in order to figure if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the 2 scores will be the winner. Winning wagers on the banker pay at nineteen to twenty (even money less a five % commission. Commission is followed closely and paid out when you leave the table so make sure you have $$$$$ still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to one. Winner bets for tie usually pays out at eight to one but sometimes nine to 1. (This is a crazy gamble as ties occur less than 1 every 10 hands. Stay away from wagering on a tie. Nevertheless odds are significantlly better – 9 to 1 versus eight to 1)

Played smartly, baccarat offers pretty decent odds, aside from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some established myths. One of which is close to a roulette myth. The past is not a predictor of future events. Tracking of old conclusions on a chart is for sure a waste of paper as well as a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most established and almost certainly most successful technique is the one-3-2-six technique. This schema is deployed to amplify winnings and reducing risk.

Begin by betting 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, remove four so you have two on the third gamble. If you win the 3rd bet, add two to the 4 on the table for a total of 6 on the fourth bet.

If you lose on the initial wager, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the second will create a loss of two. Wins on the first two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you come out even. Accomplishing a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means that you can lose the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
