Baccarat Rules

Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards that are valued less than ten are worth their printed value and on the other hand 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they just appear as the 2 hands to be dealt).

2 hands of two cards shall then be dealt to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The score for any hand shall be the sum of the 2 cards, but the very first digit is removed. For e.g., a hand of 7 and five has a total of two (sevenplus5=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card might be dealt depending on the foll. regulations:

- If the player or banker has a total score of 8 or nine, both gamblers stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or less, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the gambler hits, a chart might be used to figure if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the two scores is the winner. Victorious stakes on the banker pay out nineteen to 20 (even money minus a 5 percent commission. Commission is followed closely and moved out when you leave the table so make sure to have $$$$$ left before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winning bets for tie normally pays out at 8 to 1 but sometimes nine to 1. (This is an awful bet as ties happen less than 1 every 10 hands. abstain from putting money on a tie. Still, odds are vastly better – 9 to 1 vs. 8 to 1)

Played accurately, baccarat provides generally decent odds, away from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some established misconceptions. One of which is close to a roulette misconception. The past is surely not a predictor of future happenings. Tracking of historic outcomes on a chart is simply a waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most common and possibly most successful strategy is the one-three-2-6 method. This tactic is employed to accentuate wins and controlling risk.

start by gambling one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, remove 4 so you have two on the 3rd gamble. If you win the 3rd gamble, add 2 to the four on the table for a value of 6 on the 4th gamble.

If you don’t win on the initial wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the 2nd creates a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Winning all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. In other words you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
