Baccarat Protocols
Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards that are valued under 10 are of face value and on the other hand ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they just depict the two hands to be dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then given out to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The total for any hand will be the grand total of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is discarded. For example, a hand of seven as well as five produces a total of 2 (7plus5=12; drop the ‘one’).

Commission is kept track of and moved out when you leave the table so make sure you have cash still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to one. Winning bets for tie customarily pays out at 8 to one and sometimes 9 to 1. (This is not a good wager as ties will happen less than one every ten hands. Definitely don’t try putting money on a tie. However odds are considerably better – nine to 1 vs. eight to one)
When played accurately, baccarat provides relatively decent odds, away from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Tactics
As with just about all games, Baccarat has some common false impressions. 1 of which is similar to a roulette misconception. The past is in no way an actual indicator of future outcomes.
