Punto Banco Practices and Strategy

Punto Banco Policies

Baccarat is enjoyed with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards below ten are worth face value while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is one. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not actual people; they just represent the 2 hands that are dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The value for each hand is the sum total of the cards, however the beginning digit is dropped. For example, a hand of 5 and six has a total of one (five plus six = 11; drop the first ‘one’).

A 3rd card could be given using the following rules:

- If the gambler or bank gets a value of eight or 9, the two players hold.

- If the gambler has less than 5, she takes a card. Players otherwise stand.

- If the gambler stands, the banker takes a card on 5 or lower. If the gambler hits, a chart is used to decide if the banker holds or takes a card.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the 2 totals wins. Winning wagers on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even payout less a 5% commission. The Rake is kept track of and cleared out once you quit the table so be sure to still have money around before you depart). Winning bets on the gambler pays 1:1. Winning wagers for tie usually pays 8:1 but sometimes 9:1. (This is a poor bet as a tie occurs less than 1 in every 10 rounds. Avoid putting money on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for nine to one versus 8 to 1)

Bet on correctly punto banco provides pretty good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Punto Banco Course of Action

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has a handful of general false impressions. One of which is the same as a misconception in roulette. The past isn’t an indicator of events yet to happen. Recording previous outcomes on a page of paper is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.

The most accepted and likely the most successful strategy is the 1-3-2-6 plan. This plan is deployed to maximize winnings and minimizing risk.

Start by placing 1 dollar. If you win, add another to the two on the game table for a sum of three dollars on the second bet. If you succeed you will now have six on the table, take away 4 so you keep two on the third round. Should you come away with a win on the 3rd wager, deposit two to the four on the table for a total of 6 on the 4th bet.

If you lose on the initial round, you take a hit of one. A profit on the first bet followed by a hit on the second causes a hit of two. Success on the initial two with a defeat on the third gives you with a gain of 2. And wins on the initial three with a defeat on the 4th means you are even. Winning at all 4 bets leaves you with 12, a gain of 10. This means you are able to squander the 2nd bet five instances for each successful streak of four bets and in the end, experience no loss.
